​What is the Cardiff International Academy of Conducting?

The Cardiff International Academy of Conducting provides the opportunity for advanced conductors to participate in masterclasses with internationally renowned conducting pedagogues.

Participating students gain valuable podium time working with acclaimed chamber orchestra the Cardiff Sinfonietta and singers from Wales International Academy of Voice.

A professional video recording of all sessions will be provided to students as a record of their work.

During the COVID-19 pandemic we have been committed to providing opportunities online for conductors to develop their craft.


Location

Cardiff is Wales' capital and largest city. It has a long history dating back to Roman times and a rich, diverse cultural heritage. 
The course and final concert will be held at the beautiful Church of St Andrew and St Teilo close to the city centre and university district.
