
CIAC Music Educators Conducting Course
July 9/10, 2022
The Cardiff International Academy of Conducting is delighted to partner with the Association of Music in International Schools for an exciting virtual conducting course aimed at music educators.
10 participants from around the world will work virtually with CIAC Artistic Director Jonathan Mann (AMIS Consultant for Orchestras and Conducting) on repertoire by Antonin Dvorak.
During the course there will also be a special session by Australian composer and educator Jodie Blackshaw focused on the importance of emotional safety in our rehearsal rooms and how this is paramount to artistic expression and creativity.
Each day ends with an informal happy hour to discuss anything relevant that has been covered and provide the opportunity for breakout rooms and networking with other music educators.

Scores will be sent to participants on acceptance to the course. Participants should prepare at least one movement from each piece to conduct.

Course Fees (GBP)
